iSimRS invited to GPVWC Annual Awards @ Silverstone

The iSimRS team which includes Arnold, Harry, Lee & Iain had the pleasure of being invited to the GPVWC 2018 awards ceremony, which was held at Force India’s HQ in Silverstone.

Will Ponissi and Mike Pitman big personalities in the Sim Racing world, asked us to showcase the F-SIM at the show, and let the sim drivers test drive and offer some feedback.

The day started off at 4am, which was a shock to the system, but we got there in plenty of time to set both F-SIM cockpits up and have a few pics taken with the F1 car parked in the foyer.

Then everyone started to arrive, and at 10am it all started and Madotter(Iain) had the opportunity to put a presentattion to the audience, introducing us all and to let everyone know our back story, what our plans are for the future with F-SIM v2 and to thank Mike and Will for the invite.

It was great to be there to see some of the best sim drivers in the world getting their awards, and Will announcing the teams and drivers who are going to be involved in GPVWC 2019 in the different categories.

The competition is becoming bigger and bigger each year, and again we just loved the fact that we are one of the many small businesses that are helping push sim racing, and bring the quality hardware and knowledge that will push it along year after year.

Then after a few quiz questions, more awards the drivers where free to have a go using the F-SIM with VR which we had in the main room, or the F-SIM without VR which Iain looked after downstairs in the foyer.

He set his Madotter channel up and chatted to the drivers as they used the cockpit, and we where just blown away with the feedback, and it was also a first time for many of the drivers using VR, and again they said the VR coupled with the F-SIM driving position really gave you the ultimate F1 experience, what more can you ask for!

There more news to come regarding the F-SIM v2 cockpit, and Madotter has some seriosuly good video’s going live soon, so keep an eye on this website, our Facebook page or Madotters channel.
